Two carloads of boxes of shoes for the school children here is Haiti were delivered to my house just before I left. Pat Grauer and Ann Cook delivered them during their lunch hour. They had been collected by the students from the two medical schools at Michigan State University as part of their "Heart and Sole" Program. Many children in Haiti are unable to attend school because they have no shoes. Linda Eastwood from Boyne Falls, Michigan also donated many pair of new shoes.

We hired a temporary staff person, Nadia Gauthier to help us distribute the shoes to the children who need them. We really appreciate those persons who have donated shoes for the kids here.
