1.) UNITED METHODIST ACTIVITIES:

• Attended church services at United Methodist Church in Cap-Haitien.
• Attended Dedication of Secondary School addition at Methodist College Modele.
• Hosted Work-Team from Eaton Rapids United Methodist Church.
• Recruited and hosted volunteer from Holdrege, Nebraska to work for 8 weeks in Haiti.
• Recruited and hosted volunteer from Alpena, Michigan to work for 8 weeks in Haiti.
• Wrote Vias letter to US Embassy for Methodist School Inspector.
• Discussed Bednet Program with United Methodist Bishop in Haiti.
• Wrote General Board of Global Ministries about Bednets for Haiti.

2.) EVANGELISM:

• Held weekly Leadership Development Classes for college age youth.
• Assisted seminary student with graduation thesis.
• Held "Blessing of the House" event for community members.
• Planned Easter Event for college aged youth.
• Distributed handmade crosses to 50 youth.

3.) SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM:

• Paid fees for elementary students to attend various schools.
• Paid fees for secondary students to attend various schools.
• Bought cloth and contracted to have uniforms made for students.
• Purchased and distributed books to students.
• Distributed school supplies and hygiene supplies to students each semester.
• Provided backpacks to children needing them.
• Took photos of all students and sent them to sponsors.
• Sent funding letter to sponsors.

4.) CHILD IN CRISIS PROGRAM:

• Solicited clothing and other emergency supplies for children.
• Solicited toys and distributed them to community children.
• Coordinated the distribution of shoes donated by the Heart and Sole Program.
• Provided First Aid materials to nearby community children.
• Provided food and clothing to homeless shelter.
• Baked cakes for Homeless Shelter on Mother's Day.
• Wrote Orphanage Proposal for a Community group in Cap-Haitien.

5.) HEALTH SERVICES:

• Held weekly School Health Programs at several schools.
• Distributed "Good Health Booklets" written in Creole language to school children.
• Provided rice and other food to destitute families.
• Wrote proposal for medical clinic.
• Solicited supplies and equipment for medical clinic.
• Coordinated Children's Emergency Resorce Center.
• Coordinated medical clinic voucher program for children.
• Arranged surgery for one student at Milot Hospital.
• Co-sponsored and distributed Supplemental Food from UN World food Program to pregnant and breastfeeding women and children 0-5 years of age.
• Distributed insecticide treated Bednets to Food Program Participants.
• Coordinated Handwashing Promotion Program in schools and clinics.
• Met with radio station to plan Handwashing Media campaign next year.

6.) HOUSE BUILDING PROGRAM:

• Recruited work-team to build 4 room concrete block house for homeless family in Haiti.
• Attended meeting with Eaton Rapids Work team.
• Hired and coordinated Haitian work crew to complete floor and assist work-team.
• Prepared and provided building materials for work-team.

7.) GARDEN/WELL PROGRAM:

• Hired full time garden teacher.
• Held garden classes 5 days/week for 100 students.
• Provided seeds to garden class participants.
• Installed and repaired backyard wells for garden students.
• Coordinated fishpond project.
• Coordinated pump repair team.
• Assisted well drilling team to obtain maps to identify wells on Global Positioning System.
• Repaired community wells in Limonade area.
• Organized summer garden class in Grand Riverre for 60 supplemental food participants.
• Distributed food-bearing trees to new garden class participants.
• Facilitated having a well drilled in a remote area in Limonade for New Hope Mission.

8.) ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES:

• Held weekly Advanced English Language Classes at Mission Headquarters.
• Held weekly Christian Leadership Development Classes at Mission Headquarters.
• Administered Assessment Tests to students preparing to take TOEFL Tests.
• Assisted students with University applications.
• Administered English Language Achievement Tests to several students.
• Taught Leadership Development classes to World Vision staff twice weekly.
• Taught Advanced English Language Classes to World Vision staff twice weekly.

9.) ADMINISTRATION:

• Supervised 7 Staff Persons.
• Met daily with program staff.
• Held weekly and monthly staff meetings.
• Kept records for all programs.
• Dispensed funds for all programs.
• Submitted Monthly Expense Reports to Soaring Unlimited treasurer.
• Wrote quarterly Soaring Unlimited Newsletter.
• Sent Thank You notes for items sent to Haiti.
• Supervised Children's Resource Room.
• Solicited program supplies and equipment.
• Packed and shipped about 2 tons of cargo to Haiti.
• Obtained and drove new Ford truck to Miami for shipping to Haiti.
• Drove Rental Truck to Florida with donated cupboards and other supplies
for shipping to Haiti.
• Negotiated with customs for truck and other cargo.
• Arranged twice-weekly pick up of mail and cargo at airport.
• Installed Internet and Satellite phone in Haiti.
• Work-team installed solar power at Mission Headquarters.
• Installed new donated cupboards at Mission Headquaters.
• Did 32 presentations about ministry in Haiti at United Methodist churches
and other groups.
• Attended scheduled Soaring Unlimited board meetings.
• Sent Christmas cards to all donors.
• Sent letters to all Mission Committee chairpersons on mailing list.
